2. Work tasks:

  1. 1. Review and promote the school’s annual special education work plan.
  2. 2. Convene placement and counseling meetings to assist special education students in adapting to the educational environment and providing resettlement services.
  3. 3. Develop the reporting and referral procedures for students with suspected special educational needs.
  4. 4. Review related matters such as distributed resource class plans, individualized education plans, individual tutoring plans, special education plans, adjustment of study years, and guidance on further education and employment.
  5. 5. Review special education students’ applications for awards, scholarships, scholarships, transportation subsidies, learning aids, professional services and related support services.

1. Basis

  3. 3. Key points for implementing guidance for students with disabilities in senior secondary schools under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.

2. Work tasks:

  1. 1. Enable students with special needs to have the right to receive appropriate education, fully develop their physical and mental potential, cultivate a sound personality, and develop good social adaptability.
  2. 2. Provide special education and related service measures and facilities that are in line with the spirit of adaptability, individualization and integration.
  3. 3. Promote various special education affairs in the school and enhance teachers and students’ understanding, acceptance and integration of students with physical and mental disabilities.
  4. 4. Consider the strengths, aptitudes, special educational needs and career plans of students with disabilities and provide appropriate guidance for further studies and employment.

Participation and work content:

4. Implementation method:

  1. 1. Organization members
    (1) According to the "Measures for the Establishment of Special Education Promotion Committees in Senior Secondary Schools", a special education promotion committee is established with 13-21 members to be responsible for special education promotion work and special education-related business.
    (2) The Special Education Promotion Committee holds a meeting once every semester, and may hold extraordinary meetings when necessary.
