  • The school was founded on June 18, 1948, and was named "Yinghai", which means "broad and profound, everlasting". At that time, the board of directors recommended Dr. Tang Huisun as the first chairman of the board, and hired Mr. Cao Shuxun, the principal of Tainan County Yanyan Middle School at that time, as the first principal. In August of the following year, the first class of first-year students in the high school and four classes in the junior high school were recruited for the first time, both male and female, and Piper Road Blue was opened.   • The main building of the school was built in phases.   • In February 1968, the board of directors was reorganized and Mr. Guo Shaoming was elected as chairman. In August, the board of directors hired Mr. Tong Ka-kui to take over the school. Unfortunately, Principal Tong passed away in January 1969. In August, the board of directors appointed Mr. Li Gan as principal.

  • In February 1971, Mr. Guo Shaoming resigned as chairman, and the board of directors elected Mr. Shi Zhitian to take over as chairman. In September 1984, the board of directors was completely reorganized, with Mr. Wang Zhudong taking over as chairman.

  • In August 1986, President Li Gan retired, and the academic director, Mr. Zhang Fuguo, acted as the school administrator. In August 1987, the board of directors hired Mr. Huang Yanxiang as the principal.   • This school is a general-type senior high school with a junior high school affiliated to it, and is open to both boys and girls. After more than 50 years of operation, in order to cope with internationalization and integrate with the world, starting from the 106th academic year, it has opened international experimental classes for junior high schools and high schools to meet the needs of students studying abroad.

  • In February 107, Principal Chen Jinlong applied for retirement and was succeeded by Principal Yao Zhihua, who promoted the curriculum planning of the 108 syllabus, improved teachers' academic abilities, and improved teaching performance.   • On February 1, 2012, the Board of Directors selected Dr. Shen Shulin, principal of Taichung Changyi Senior High School, to take over as the eleventh principal. Principal Shen has a good academic experience and is familiar with school operations. He listens carefully to the opinions of teachers and students and builds the school into a democratic campus. Before becoming the principal, he was seconded to the Central Office of the Ministry of Education and the National and Preschool Education Department of the Ministry of Education for many years.
